Linda Fraser, M.A., is a professional educator and presenter currently living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She has written curriculum for and worked with both high school and adult learners. She currently consults for Minneapolis Public Schools. She is also a member of the Loft Literary Center.
Unexpectedly widowed eight years ago, Linda entered the world of LaterDating™. She quickly learned that the dating world for people over fifty, like herself, was drastically different from what she remembered or anticipated. The advice of her two single daughters was often not all that applicable. Her many coupled friends were unable to relate. Conversations with other single people over fifty included many more questions than answers. It is these questions, the stories shared by her peers and her own experiences over seven years of LaterDating™ that inspired this book.
She understood that writing a valid survey and correctly analyzing the results would require more expertise than she possessed, so she got help. Her oldest daughter, Molly Coyne, had a Ph.D. in Evaluation. Molly made sure her mother’s survey work was accurate, and that the statistics it produced were correct.
